Transition Into Spring
Posted By: Casie Classey
It is always difficult to transition a wardrobe from winter to spring. With the warmer weather slowly approaching, we are even more antsy to bust out wedges, sundresses and floral patterns. Until then, sometimes you have to get creative by mixing a winter wardrobe with spring pieces. Here are some transition weather tips for successfully dressing in-between seasons:
1. Shed an extra layer or two: Winter is all about layering and keeping warm. A lot of your winter pieces can also work for the warmer temperatures; just remove a layer such as a scarf or blazer.
2. Sundress+blazer combo: Although it might not be the ideal time to wear a sundress and cute sandals, you can still wear your favorite sundress in a creative way! Pair it with a tailored blazer, some riding boots and knee high socks.
3. Leggings: Leggings are great for adding some solids/patterns to your outfits while still keeping warm. Keep it simple with black leggings- a great staple piece that every girl must own! Try them with tunics- short or long sleeved depending on the weather.
4. Ruffles: Dying to wear the cute frilly and ruffle shirts this spring? You can still wear them while transitioning into the spring season by adding a leather vest or jacket for a funky, yet warm look!
Two of our Cellairis girls put these tips into use with the ever so changing Atlanta weather. They both wore the same tunic and legging combo, but added their own style by choosing different accessories. A tunic and leggings can go a long way. Don’t forget to pair the look with a case to match!
We’re always looking for new transition pieces, what is your favorite?
