It’s that time of year again…time to choose your Halloween costume! The task can be daunting, but it doesn’t have to be! If you haven’t decided your course of action for this year’s All Hallow’s Eve festivities, have no fear. You can’t go wrong with these categories, no matter what kind of spooktacular events you plan to attend.
Zombie: A classic choice. With some scary make-up and the right attitude, you can be a zombie anything! Think zombie football player, zombie bride, etc.
Carrie: With the remake just released, this terrifying high school girl costume will be the hit of the party.
Cabbage Patch Kid: This one’s for the kids! Dress up your toddler in a yarn wig and pale make-up. You’ll be sure to evoke a scare while trick-or-treating.
iPhone Facetime: We are obsessed with our iPhones. Why not dress up as one…well Facetime specifically! Grab some cardboard, a friend and you’re done!
Beanie Baby: Classic and timeless. These 90’s playthings make great costumes! Dress up as your favorite animal and add a red, cardboard “Ty” heart around your neck.
Minions: Dress up as Despicable Me’s cutest characters with a yellow t-shirt, overalls, science googles, and rubber gloves. Funny AND adorable.
Kate Middleton: Grab a brunette wig, a blue polka dot dress and a baby doll. With the recent birth of her and Prince William’s son, this is an effortless pop culture costume.
Katy Perry: From her new video “Roar”. All you need is a hula skirt, leopard top and flower crown…poof you’re Katie Perry!
Great Gatsby: Don your most dapper attire to channel the main character of The Great Gatsby. Who knows, you might just be mistaken for Leo DiCaprio!
Katniss & Peta: With the second Hunger Games movie coming out in November, Katniss & Peta are a powerful, fun choice for a Halloween costume couple.
Romeo & Juliet: Classic star-crossed lovers. You can make this look your own or go the traditional route. Visit your local thrift store and see what you can dig up!
Miley Cyrus & The Hamburglar: VMA’s style 2013. A giant teddy bear and a black and white suit…need we say more?
