The cost of care for an individual with autism over his or her lifetime is an astronomical $1.4 Million. This year alone, more children will be diagnosed with autism than with AIDS, pediatric [...]Did you know...every 11 minutes, a child is diagnosed with autism and 1 in 88 children are diagnosed on the autism spectrum? The cost of care for an individual with autism over his or her lifetime is an astronomical $1.4 Million. This year alone, more children will be diagnosed with autism than with AIDS, pediatric cancer and juvenile diabetes combined. Since Inauguration Day 2013, 8,568 people have received an autism diagnosis.Whew, that's a lot to take in. That being said, Cellairis has recently teamed up with the Georgia Chapter of Autism Speaks to become a corporate sponsor. We are so excited to get involved at the local level by participating in the Autism Speaks Atlanta Walk, Lighting It Up Blue, fundraising contests and more.This cause is very near and dear to our hearts.
